We'd like to keep in touch so you continue to feel connected with Joyous, and you feel as comfortable as possible when you return. It's perfectly okay if you would prefer not to, we just want you to have the option.

Q: Would you like to have a regular catch-up with someone at Joyous while you are on parental leave?

In some countries, there is a government provision for paid keeping in touch hours while you are on extended parental leave.

Many people may want to have regular catch-ups with their leader, but some may also enjoy catching up with their team or a friend from the office from time to time. That's perfectly okay, and we can make sure people are given the time to connect with you.

This could be a phone call, Zoom call, home visit, lunch at a cafe nearby to your house, or you could come in to Joyous. If you want to bring your new child along, that's also perfectly okay! We love kids! Also, if you prefer to play it by ear that's fine too.
