Making sure you have a comfortable setup to work from home

What is this benefit?

Joyous will cover the cost of a comfortable home office for you!

What’s included?

Home Office:

We offer a comfortable and high spec home office setup.

You may request a complete solution, or just the items that make sense for you.

Remote Employees:

Co-working spaces: For employees working remotely full time co-working spaces can be accessed under this benefit. You can either access a co-working space that works for you when required and expense the cost or discuss with the Operations team your requirements to assist with a solution.

Onboarding for remote employees: To successfully onboard remote employees, it maybe practicable for the new employee to travel to the relevant Joyous hub as part of their onboarding at Joyous.  People leaders and the employee should discuss this as part of the onboarding process and coordinate accordingly, including with the Operations Team who can assist with arrangements.

How to access this benefit

If you are a permanent full-time employee working from home regularly - around 2 days per week or more on average -  then you can access this benefit.

You can use this link to a Notion Form to request certain equipment for your home office.

New Zealand

  • The compact mechanical desk, chair/stool/mat and dual monitor arm come from PowerCore. If you would like to order any of these items please email Blair (blair@joyoushq.com).
  • For your home monitor, and other peripherals you can either order these yourself and submit an expense claim, or ask Blair to arrange them for you.

Australia & USA

  • Work with Blair to source and order your items from a local supplier.
  • We can either order them for you, or you can order them and claim the expense.

What happens if I leave Joyous?

We will make arrangements to collect your home office equipment. If you would like to keep your equipment then please discuss this with Blair.

Encourage people to have a comfortable home office

If someone in your team is regularly working from home and doesn’t have a comfortable home office then do encourage them to make use of this benefit.

Work with the Operations Team to coordinate travel to and time at a relevant Joyous hub for onboarding of new employees.
