🌿 More natural conversations
We want Joyous conversations to feel as natural as any conversations your people have in other platforms they use in their day-to-day lives.
So the Joyous interface that your team members use to give their feedback is getting a makeover, with each conversation displayed like the chats they are used to seeing in apps like Messenger and WhatsApp.
🤸♂️ Flexible conversations
Joyous has previously focused on starting conversations with a rating question followed by a free-text comment, but we know that different employee feedback situations call for different types of conversations.
That's why we're enhancing our conversation builder to let you create any kind of structure you want with rated questions, multi-select questions, free-text comments, in any number and in any order.
Create conversation starters using conversation blocks in any order and number.
While we are at it, we'll also be giving our interface a facelift for the live feed, heat maps and insights.
💬 Live Feed
New live feed and navigation drawer
We will release a new look and feel for insights, including a new donut and counts which make it easier to see how many people contributed to a score or theme. Over time we will also release new conversation cards, providing real-time insight for specific conversations, including a new real-time conversation funnel for free text questions.

We will also release a new look and feel for Heatmaps. This includes new colouring by difference from overall score - making it much easier to spot key differences at a glance. This version also includes new display value options such as conversations answered and conversation discussions.
Leaders will be able to see the values of other teams - without being able to drill into the details.

👩💻 Manage your own campaigns
The world moves fast, and we know you want to spin up and refine feedback campaigns that meet the ever-changing needs of your working environment.
Your admin users will now also be able to set up and manage your campaigns, even designing your own conversations, without needing to contact Joyous support, putting you in full control of your employee feedback programmes.
With many leaders potentially running multiple campaigns at once for your organisation, it makes sense to view upcoming conversations in a calendar view. So our campaign management is driven off of an organisation-wide campaign calendar.
You'll be able to see what questions are going to be asked next and ensure that your people aren't being engaged in too many conversations at once.

💬 Conversation specific insights
On top of the refreshed insights that will come out as part of V3.0, V3.1 will introduce new insights by conversation. These will appear below the category level insights, and you will be able to see insights specific to a conversation in real-time, including a new conversation funnel. Filtering by a question will allow you to easily compare the same question over time if it has been asked more than once.

We'll be adding a few extras once the basics are sorted for more natural conversations in Joyous, such as uploading custom avatars to personalise the experience and being able to reply to specific messages to have more detailed conversations.

We know that lots of your leaders are also being asked questions and giving feedback to their own leaders.
To make sure the Joyous experience fits effortlessly into your leaders' workdays, we're making it easy to transition between responding to feedback from your team and giving your own feedback to your leader.
🍱 Segment your audience for campaigns
Joyous has previously focused on measuring the overall employee experience at your organisation, but we know that different feedback goals need to be targeted to particular areas of your business.
We're working on the ability to create audience segments for your campaigns to ensure you start conversations with the right people in any situation.

Joyous provides the data-driven Employee Experience Genome conversation set backed by the latest developments in organisational psychology.
We're building a library of proven conversation content for different situations such as health and safety, employee performance, and more, that will help you create high-quality campaigns for any situation in no time.
You'll also be able to share conversation sets you create for campaigns as reusable templates for your organisation.
👩✈️ Leaders can manage campaigns too
Large organisations or businesses with many subsidiaries and divisions need to empower leaders to hold conversations in their part of the organisation.
Rather than only allowing top-level admins to work on campaigns, we'll let nominated leaders create and manage campaigns to hold conversations that are restricted to their part of the organisation.
You can ensure that campaigns are run by the people who are closest to the area you want feedback from.
